Starting from a base in Pediatric Traumatology, we will delve into subspecialization through a more detailed and in-depth knowledge of pathologies.

We recommend complementing the course with the post-course simulation workshop Initial Pediatric Trauma Care.

  • Learn advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques for pediatric traumatic pathology.
  • Generate debate between speakers and attendees in order to share ideas.
  • To establish through a simulation workshop the bases of treatment of the pediatric polytrauma patient.


Upper limb fractures.

  1. Elbow fractures:
    • Supracondylar fractures: are 2 pins enough?
    • Medial epicondylar fractures: surgical or non-surgical?
    • Lateral condyle fractures: can we avoid “fishtail deformity” and nonunion?
    • Radial head and neck fractures: when nonoperative treatment is allowed.
