You will learn to write well structured reports which communicate project details in a clear and stimulating way for an international audience. Starting from a sentence and paragraph level all the way out to planning and structuring your reports and articles. This class will use a hands-on approach with all participants expected to bring in two samples of their professional writing, as well as a sample of a report published in their sector which they found highly engaging.

Modules:planning and structuring, clarity, cohesion and flow, the use of linkers and markers, formal and informal registers, active and passive voice, dynamic introductions, effective conclusions, the steps of self-editing.

The course is oriented towards project management and not scientific content.

The course is for professionals with a minimum level of B2.

• Learn writing guides for clear, concise sentences and logical paragraphs.
• Practise the lessons learned, in a series of in-class writing activities.
• Participate in group discussions, writing exercises and active editing.
