Pediatric colorectal pathology encompasses a wide spectrum of complex entities of low prevalence and with a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. Therefore, they represent a challenge for pediatric surgeons.

The Course on Surgical Treatment of Colorectal Problems in Children, with the presence of Dr. Alberto Peña and Dr. Andrea Bischoff, will be held at the SJD Children's Hospital in Barcelona on March 26th, 27th and 28th, 2025.

The aim of the course is to update, over three days, the knowledge in the management of patients with pediatric colorectal pathology through live surgeries and training sessions.

    • Diagnosis and complementary tests in colorectal pathology.
    • Neonatal approach, treatment, surgical errors and reinterventions.
    • Bowel management, fecal incontinence, constipation.
    • Trasition to adult center.
