Train at a level three teaching hospital
SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital is a Teaching Hospital affiliated with the University of Barcelona. Our hospital is a level three, monographic women and children’s centre with the highest level of specialisation and complexity, providing ideal conditions for comprehensive training in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, hospital pharmacy, and clinical biochemistry.
Our hospital is accredited for Specialised Medical Training in Pediatrics and Specific Areas; Pediatrics, Obstetric and Gynecological Surgery; Clinical Biochemistry; Hospital Pharmacy; Pediatric Nursing Residency; and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
We are also an accredited training centre in Microbiology and Parasitology.
This monographic hospital has been accredited to teach Medical Residents since 1986 and Nursing Residents since 2012. We currently have 138 residents across the different specialities and 34 preceptors.
