Transform your clinical practice with this cutting-edge theoretical and practical course, designed for healthcare professionals

This advanced Non Invasive Ventilation (NIV) course is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to perfect their skills in the respiratory management of acute pediatric and neonatal patients. Delivered on a blended basis, it combines a 70-hour online theoretical training with a 20-hour face-to-face practical phase, in which key concepts are applied through a practical and dynamic approach.

The training follows the guidelines of the Respiratory Working Group of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensive Care and is aimed at ensuring that professionals develop key competencies for the management of NIV in pediatric and neonatal critical care settings.

At the end of this training you will be able to:

  • To acquire fundamental knowledge on noninvasive ventilation (NIV) applied to pediatric and neonatal patients in acute situations, based on the recommendations of the Respiratory Working Group of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensive Care.
  • Develop practical skills in the use of different NIV ventilator models, allowing participants to manage real clinical cases with a personalized and simulation-based approach.
  • To master the clinical application of NIV in common respiratory pathologies in infancy and neonatology, improving the quality of care and clinical outcomes in critical situations.
  • Promote comprehensive and continuous training, combining theory and practice to ensure that professionals acquire a thorough and applicable understanding of noninvasive ventilation.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration among participants by working in small groups, where NIV techniques will be applied in practical and real clinical scenarios.
  • To continuously evaluate the trainee's progress during the training, ensuring that the acquired knowledge is transformed into effective practical skills for the management of NIV in pediatric and neonatal care.
